The Rest of the Tour! (Geneva, Gruyeres, and Paris)

After an amazing time in Italy we headed up to beautiful Switzerland. Our first stop once in Geneva was to get some dinner and we found place right across the street from our hotel that had some really tasty perch (a local fish).
The next day we wandered around a bit and found this amazing little chocolate shop.
Below is the highest water fountain in the world!
We went on a boat ride in the afternoon to see some of the beautiful Geneva coast line.
 Another view of the fountain.
Above is a view of the adorable little Swiss towns along the road on the way to Gruyeres.
 Welcome to Gruyeres!
The entrance to the cheese factory!
The cheese factory was amazing! My favorite part was getting samples to try while we walked around.
The castle of Gruyere!
The adorable one street town of Gruyere.
A scary cat came over to lick my hot chocolate lid.
We ate lunch at one of the restaurants with an amazing view!
I got the Alpine mac n' cheese which was fantastic and I loved the flag in it.
The magnificent view from the castle.
The beautiful castle garden.
Next we went to the Cailler/Nestle Chocolate Factory!
The tour was really neat. They told the history of chocolate and did a great job with the sets!
The actual production of the chocolate was cool to see. We also got to taste test at the end which was obviously one of the best parts.
We ended our chocolate factory visit with some hot chocolate and chocolate fondue!
We made sure to get in a nice authentic Swiss meal before leaving Switzerland and heading to Paris!
In Paris, we started with a fantastic meal at one of the street-side cafes.
After the meal, we found a fantastic cab driver who accepted our request to give us a night tour of Paris. The views were amazing and he was nice enough to stop anywhere he thought we might get a good view, even if it was in the middle of the street. Above is the Opera house.
The stunning Eiffel Tower.
 Notre Dame cathedral.
The Louvre Museum.

The next morning we got up early to get in line to go to the top of the Eiffel tower!
 The views were stunning!
The legs of the tower from above.
The lines underneath us.
 The Louvre was amazing!
We caught a glimpse of the sunset while inside the museum.
I was never sure exactly what was under that giant glass pyramid until we went.
There was a lot of really nice architecture outside the museum.
The boat we would be riding on the next day!
I love all of the statues just placed around the city.
Our new favorite cabaret show: Chez Raymonde
As you can see from the menu, the chef was one of the two main stars of the show.
The chef and the our waiter provided all of the entertainment for the night. The food was also fabulous!
They had some great accessories! They also involved the audience quite a bit. I think they stayed away from us because they knew we spoke English and couldn't understand much anyways. They did have us all waving our napkins in the air at one point though!
Our time in Switzerland and Paris was amazing! I was very sad to say goodbye to mom and Aunt Diane again but I know there are more adventures to be had back in London!
