More pictures to come!
I know there aren't any pictures of me and Mike in the last post and it's because Kento took them all with his good camera. Once I get a hold of them I will put some on here! It was so nice seeing family and I can't wait to see mom and Aunt Diane in April!
A Great Second Trip to London
My second trip to London was great and I feel like I am really getting to know the city better. We started at the British Museum which was amazing! We saw some really awesome Egyptian statues and mummies in the Ancient Egypt exhibit.
A view of the main hall of the Museum.
This head had a huge arm next to it showing how big the entire statue actually was.
We also saw some amazing Greek statues from the Parthenon and some neat statues of Buddha in the Buddhism over the centuries exhibit. (Statue from Easter Island)
Next we went to see some of the big sites and it turned out to be a really nice night so we got some great photos.
(A fun car in one of the tourist shops)
I had some great British food this trip including a fisherman's pie, bangers and mash, and of course, fish n chips. We also did some shopping today and I bought a great pair of black boots. They are definitely a staple of British fashion and I can't wait to start wearing them and fitting in more! Overall, we had a fantastic time in London and I am getting to love the city more and more!

Beautiful Wales!
Our trip to Wales was phenomenal. Everything was so well planned out and both of our days were packed with amazing adventures. We started out in Conwy which has a famous castle and is also home to the smallest house in the UK. The castle was built in about 1312 and it was amazing. I was so excited to see my first castle and it did not disappoint.
The castle was great and the views from the towers were also amazing. The town of Conwy was adorable and so was the smallest house in the UK which was right along the water.
The house was ridiculously small and the last man to live in it was supposedly a 6 foot tall fisherman.
Our next stop was the town with our hostel called Llandudno. It was beautiful and right on the water. We took a hike up a large hill there and the views were amazing. Our hostel was also Victorian style and really nice. We rented out the entire place so it was really fun.
A view of the hill we climbed. We ended up going a lot further back though onto more hills to see some extra views.
Happy Valley park which supposedly helped to inspire Alice in Wonderland.
First sheep sighting!
Beautiful views!
Our contribution to UFO hill. (A W for wales inside of a heart). The hill has tons of messages made of rocks to signal the UFO's that supposedly stop by.
Some other messages on the hill.
Walking to watch the sunset.
I wanted to include a taste of the Welsh language because it was so interesting and very difficult to pronounce. That night our whole group went out to a karaoke bar and it was tons of fun watching people sing. A lot of them were actually really good! This morning we went on another hike to a beautiful waterfall.
The above pictures are from the Sheep Show in which we learned about 10 different species of sheep from all around the world. Our presenter was great and the show was hilarious as well as educational. At one point an extra sheep just ran out of one of the doors, stopped and gave us a loud "bahh!" It was pretty funny that he decided to crash the show.
This is our presenter again with his sheep herding dog who he is obviously very close to. Bill was a beautiful dog who had one bright blue eye and one brown. He was also incredibly smart and followed his instructions perfectly while herding. Cadi could definitely learn a few things from Bill about listening to commands.

Christina had a little trouble getting back from the waterfall.
After the waterfall visit we drove through a really scenic national park (Snowdonia) containing Snowdon mountain which is the highest peak in the UK. The mountain, according to myth, had two dragons fighting inside of it. One was red and one was white and they were discovered when Merlin (from King Arthur) advised one of the kings who wanted to build on the mountain to dig into the land and release the dragons. They were in fact released and then battled over the mountain. It is said that the red dragon represented Wales and the white represented England. This is why many of the Welsh flags have a red dragon on them today. (It is also said that the Welsh dragon ends up winning the battle in the end). They are currently an area of great independence from the rest of England which is really interesting. Unfortunately, it was too cloudy to see any of the high peaks but we could still see the lake which is the supposed resting place of the Excalibur (King Arthur's sword).
Next we went to another adorable little town where we ate a great lunch at the Royal Oak Hotel shown above. After lunch we headed to the sheep farm which was probably my favorite destination.

My favorite part of the day was getting to hang out with the sheepdog puppies. They were so cuddly and adorable! We were so lucky that they were just born before we got there. Overall, the trip was definitely my favorite so far. We got to do such a great variety of activities all in two days! I would love to go back some day and do some more exploring. Next weekend is London to see Mike and I am so excited! I am having such fun traveling and I can't believe all of the new experiences I've had!
